The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism and the departments under it held a Tadarus Opening Ceremony in conjunction with Ramadhan. Organised by the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries, it took place at Duli Raja Isteri Pg Anak Damit Mosque, Mukim Kilanas.

At the ceremony, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism presented an endowment in the form of mosque equipment. It was followed by the mass reading of holy verses of Al-Qur'an and breaking of the fast and the mass fardhu Maghrib prayer.
